Your stay at a remote lodge can provide the most therapeutic getaway ever. Ours is one of the few resorts in Maine where your total relaxation can include hearing the "sounds of silence," possibly for the first time in your life. Most Maine resorts can't make that claim.

Our lodge is the only facility on Penobscot Lake. We are very fortunate to be so secluded. The geographic location of the lake plays a large role in making this remote lodge a fabulous place to relax, collect your thoughts, and enjoy nature. The sounds you will hear may be many or none at all, but few will be manmade. Resorts of this caliber are rare and very few are as secluded and private as this.

You may fly-in or choose to be ferried by boat to this wonderfully remote location. Penobscot Lake is 60 miles northwest of Greenville, Maine. Located less than a mile east of the Quebec Canadian border, our northern Maine lakeside lodge and cottages will enable you to appreciate why we have the designation of "Vacationland" on our license plates!
